THE WITHERED ARM:

This xmas, I've read The withered arm, it's a book of Thomas Hardy it trates of a old story . Time ago, Rohada Brook had a son with the farmer Lodge, but him abandoned them, and had married with Gertude, a young girl. One day, Rohada had a dream, where Gertude scoffed her, and she, catching his arm angrily threw her out the window. One day the two women met, and Gertrude trust Rohada, showing her her marks on her arm. With time, the marks become worst and her arm start to withering. She tries all but without success. She asks for help to Trendle, but he can’t cure her, although he can show her who conjured up the spell, was Rohada. The time passes, but, one day Trendle discovers the cure for the spell -touch the neck of a newly hanged man.- This will 'turn' the blood and cure the withered arm. Gertrude visits the local hangman who agrees to help her. Gertrude touched the neck of a recently hanged. Then she discovers that it's Rhoda and Lodge's son who has been
hanged. Deep in shock, Gertrude dies. Withered Arm", and others famous books like "Te Hand of Ethelberta"

The English novelist and poet Thomas Hardy was born on June 2, 1840 , since childhood he was interested in reading. In 1859 he created his first poem entitled "Domicilium". In the 70, Thanks to his wife Emma Lavinia Gifford, Thomas Hardy left the architecture to devote itself to the literature. From there, the writer managed to turn into a figure of prestige, to obtain economic success, etc… He died on January 11, 1928

EXCHANGE WITH IES NACKA.

In my class since November are doing a virtual exchange with an other school of Sweden, IES Nacka. I have to write to two girls, Louise and Susanna, they are very nice!
Sweden is an Scandinavian country of the north of Europa.  Carlos XVI Gustavo is the head of the state. Stockholm is the capital and at once the most populated city of Sweden, is spread over a total of 14 islands of the lake Märlen. Stockholm is often known for his beauty, his buildings and architecture, his clean water and his numerous parks, gardens and channels...
Sometimes it's known like "Venice of the North"

Them school, Nacka, is in Stockholm, thy speak Swedish and English too. Some of our letters are in Spanish and others in English, because they have a signature of Spanish.
Louise told me that her school is sometimes a little harsh but she like her teachers. I really want to see them, and go to Sweden or they will came to Spain!
This is IES Nacka:

I think that the idea of an virtual exchange is a good idea, I'm having a great time doing it, and speaking with Louise and Susanna!!

NOTTING HILL:

Synopsys:
For this summer I've read Notting Hill. It's about a love story of an american film star, Anna scott, and the owner of a travel bookshop, in Notting Hill, London, William Thacker.
One day she walks into his shop and mets William, but he stained her with coffe and they had to go to Williams home for wash her clothes.
Sudenly she kissed him. And from there they bagan a beautiful relationship, although with some complications and ups and downs .
Because Anna was rich and beautiful, and famous all over the world. Every one wants to know her. And william's life couldn't be more  different. His booshop was small and not very successful, and his group of friends was small to.
But Anna and William are looking for someone special. So maybe they will be toghether... If you want to
know it, you have to read it

Personal Opinion:
I've liked the book, it isn't very exciting but is romantic and beautiful.
I recommend it if you are a person who likes quiet stories and especially of love.
I saw the film time ago but I don't remember so much.
It's of the level 3 of Oxford.
It's contemporany and it's written in British English.

HAPPINESS:

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

IBIZA:

The Monday 3 of september, my grandmom and I took the airplane to ibiza, it was a short trip, 40 minutes or something like that.
Ibiza is an island of Menorca, España.
I was in the hotel Playa Real, it have a big and blue pool, and next to the pool, the beach, the beach in Ibiza is too beautiful, and there are many people selling sun glasses, watches, handkerchiefs, bracelets... They do braids and massages too.
The view from the room were very nice, because from there you saw the sea of the beach Talamanca and the pool.
I didn't like very much the Ibiza city, but the old part is very beautiful and tourist.

Another day we went to see the famous dawn of San Antonio, and later we went to have dinner.
And the friday 7 we arrived to Valencia!!
